Taksim Square, which has been one of the most important elements of cities throughout history, has important historical and urban importance, as well as its main features such as being a communication source that allows many different urban activities to be carried out and gathers all segments of the society individually or collectively, as well as an important nationally important one. is a focal point (Ercan, 2012). Spatial arrangements made in the area, activity suggestions, and usage scenarios The main aims and concerns are not to lose this spotlight that it has throughout the country while developing it, and to transform it into a part of the city that is used by all segments of the society as it should be, and to make this gain the new identity of the place. Taking the pedestrianized area with Taksim Square as the base of the project area, various arrangements have been made in the pedestrianized area from the entrance of Istiklal Street to the Taksim-Maçka ecological pedestrian bridge, including Gezi Park.
